Identificación de tres componentes de múltiples atletas y perfilado de macro y micronutrientes en universidades.

Resumen

La participación de las mujeres en los deportes ha aumentado en las últimas décadas y es la misma que el evento Athlete Mulher Triad. Este síndrome se caracteriza por la presencia de uno o más de los siguientes componentes: baja energía disponible, alteraciones del ciclo menstrual y baja densidad mineral ósea. Es necesario identificar los componentes de la dieta, realizar un seguimiento del consumo de macro y micronutrientes e identificar la frecuencia de baja energía disponible en los deportistas universitarios. Se trata de un estudio observacional descriptivo con deportistas universitarios, incluyendo cinco partidos de balonmano y cinco de fútbol sala. Obtener anamnesis, registro alimentario de tres días, registro fotográfico de alimentos, antropometría y composición corporal, estimación del consumo energético durante el reposo y el ejercicio y la magnitud del riesgo de lesión. La edad promedio de los participantes fue de 23 (±1,9) años y todos tenían baja energía disponible (≤30 kcal/kg MLG/día). Habitualmente un deportista presenta los tres componentes del trío, ya que el siguiente presenta una pequeña cantidad. El consumo medio de macronutrientes fue de 3,0 g/kg/día de hidratos de carbono, 1,2 g/kg/día de proteínas y el 32% del valor calórico total de grasas. Todas las adecuaciones mencionadas anteriormente en cuanto a la ingesta de magnesio y calcio, y la ingesta media de hierro, vitamina A, C y B12 están por debajo de la cantidad diaria recomendada (CDR) y la ingesta adecuada (AI). De esta forma concluí que en los deportistas universitarios la baja disponibilidad energética y el consumo inadecuado de micronutrientes fueron elevados, corroborando la ocurrencia de lesión del deportista.
