Deshidratación en futbolistas juveniles

Resumen

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo verificar el nivel de deshidratación en futbolistas juveniles, comparando variaciones en la masa corporal, agua corporal total por impedancia bioeléctrica y volumen plasmático, después de un partido de fútbol de 90 minutos de duración. Nueve jugadores de un equipo de fútbol juvenil del Estado de Paraná, con edad media de 18,44 ± 1,24 años, participaron de este estudio. El estudio se realizó antes, durante y después de un partido de fútbol, ​​donde los jugadores se sometieron a una valoración antes y después del partido, la cual consistió en: toma de masa corporal, talla e impedancia bioeléctrica tetrapolar para obtener datos de agua corporal total en litros, donde también se verificó el porcentaje de grasa corporal. También se tomó una muestra de sangre antes y después del partido de fútbol para comprobar el nivel de deshidratación a través de la variación del volumen plasmático. Después de la evaluación inicial, se controló la ingesta de líquidos y la excreción urinaria hasta la segunda evaluación, realizada después del partido. El análisis estadístico mostró un nivel de deshidratación en todos los métodos monitoreados. En conclusión, se puede ver que los jugadores tuvieron una pérdida de agua, pero solo uno de los jugadores tuvo una reducción en el volumen de plasma, lo que perjudicó el rendimiento. Se deben realizar estudios adicionales con diferentes temperaturas, así como evaluar la posición de cada jugador individualmente, observando su desplazamiento durante el partido.
