Effetti del consumo di proteine ​​sull'ipertrofia causata dall'allenamento di resistenza: una visione attuale

Abstract

Obiettivo: Rilevare, discutere e sintetizzare la ricerca che ha analizzato gli effetti del consumo di proteine ​​sull'ipertrofia muscolare causata dall'allenamento di resistenza. Fonti di dati: La ricerca è stata condotta nei database Pubmed. I descrittori utilizzati sono stati: consumo di proteine, assunzione di proteine, esercizio di resistenza, allenamento di resistenza, ipertrofia, esercizio fisico, nutrizione.Sintesi dei dati: il monitoraggio degli studi utilizzando i descrittori ha trovato 73195 studi. Dopo aver incrociato i descrittori, sono stati ottenuti 4.412 studi. Di questi, dopo aver analizzato i titoli degli studi, sono stati considerati 502 riferimenti rilevanti; Dopo la lettura degli abstract, sono stati selezionati 120 studi, sottoposti ai criteri di inclusione/esclusione, per un totale, alla fine, di 47 studi, letti integralmente. La maggior parte degli studi ha messo in relazione la pratica dell'allenamento di resistenza e la capacità di sintetizzare proteine ​​muscolari il cui effetto è associato, tra gli altri fattori nutrizionali, all'assunzione di quantità giornaliere relativamente maggiori di proteine ​​di alta qualità di aminoacidi. Conclusioni: La pratica dell'allenamento di resistenza è in grado di potenziare la sintesi proteica muscolare in modo acuto e cronico. Gli atleti che eseguono questa modalità hanno bisogno di consumare una quantità giornaliera relativamente maggiore di proteine ​​ricche di aminoacidi essenziali per recuperare i danni ai tessuti muscolari causati dall'allenamento. Il consumo approssimativo di 20-25 g di proteine, preferibilmente con quantità significative di leucina, sembra potenziare la sintesi e il recupero miofibrillare, soprattutto dopo l'allenamento, tuttavia l'entità dell'ipertrofia causata da questo tipo di esercizio è influenzata anche da quelle metaboliche, tensionali e ormonali.
