Supplementazione di cromo associata all'esercizio fisico: una revisione sistematica

Abstract

Uno degli integratori alimentari che ha acquisito maggiore notorietà è il minerale cromo, che la letteratura afferma come le sue principali funzioni per potenziare l'azione dell'insulina con un migliore legame con la proteina glut4 epatica, catturando più glucosio e riducendo il profilo lipidico inibendo il enzima epatico idrossimetilglutaril-CoA-reduttasi. Di conseguenza, c'è un possibile risultato ipoglicemizzante e ipolipemizzante. La sua utilità rivolta agli sportivi non è solo ricorre alla sostituzione organica, ma perché il cromo può favorire principalmente la via anabolica con un aumento della sensibilità all'insulina, che giova alla risposta metabolica adattativa con un maggiore assorbimento di aminoacidi e di conseguenza la sintesi proteica. Pertanto, una revisione per chiarire l'azione del cromo sugli individui sottoposti a test e allenamento fisico sembra appropriata.
